Based in Amsterdam, NL

Sisi is a multidisciplinary artist working across installation, performance, and moving image. Her practice investigates forms of knowledge that are transmitted through ritual, divination, folklore, and embodied experience, particularly those that exist outside official historical narratives. 

Through fieldwork and conversations, she examines oral histories and lived experiences, allowing them to shape both her research process and the forms her works take. Interested in the ephemeral rather than the permanent, she works with transient materials and multi-sensory environments to make embodied experiences perceptible.
